I'm still here...really

Just a quick one as it's very late and I'm a bit tired. A sudden burst of blog guilt has taken hold of me as I haven't given you anything to read at all of late. Quite simply, we've been too busy. My Mum came to visit on the 1st of May and from the minute she landed it was go-go-go. She's not on our side of the country at present, having made her way to California via Chicago, New Orleans, and El Paso, courtesy of Amtrak, but we've been tracking her progress until she leaves sometime later this evening.

So once we get over this Memorial Day long weekend (we'll surely be off to do something while the weather is, at last, nice) I shall fill you in on the adventures of May. Look forward to hearing about sightseeing in NYC, stays in posh hotels, trips through upstate New York, a visit to Niagara Falls, tales of lost luggage and map-less travel. I'll try to make it funny.
